Along with her husband David, Daphne founded D&D McWilliams in 2002. Though she started front of house she is now mainly located in the office organising everything behind the scenes. She is a long time spectacle and contact lens wearer and likes to try all the latest products.

Laura graduated from Cardiff University in 2006 and has been practicing with us since 2015. Over the last 10 years she has worked for Conlons and Boots Opticians and has many patients who have followed her due to the excellence of her care and professionalism.

Beth qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 2015, enjoys the technical side of spectacle frames and lens design and loves to keep up to date on the latest fashions and trends. She specialises in and offers Colourimetry Testing in practice for Visual Stress and associated symptoms.

Dale started his career in Optics in 2006 and joined us from Boots Opticians, earning his Diploma as a Dispensing Optician. He specialises in making great looking eyewear for those with high prescriptions and has a passion for children's eye-health.

After Daphne, Gail is the longest standing team member. Gail is a good listener who feels it is important to feel confident as well as comfortable in your chosen spectacles. She is very particular and has a great eye for detail. Speak to Gail about her office lenses.

Lily joined us in January 2015 bringing years of experience with her from Conlons Opticians. As a confident Optical Advisor she is always willing to give an honest opinion on frame choice regarding fit and style.

Marta joined us in 2021 and has 10 years of experience, previously working for Rayner's Opticians and Specsavers. She has a passion for frame choice and for bright colours and something a little different for the patient who wants to stand out.

Danielle joined our team in 2013 and is one of our Optical Receptionists. She is a friendly face in practice to greet our patients, loves to chat and build a rapport with anyone who calls in and assists with our Peripheral Vision Screening examinations.

Gillian is the friendly and caring face of our practice and joined us in 2019. She is dedicated and welcoming to all our patients and has made an instant connection with many of our long standing visitors.

Tracey has 20 years of experience in Optics and joined us in 2020 from K France Opticians. She's part of our reception team and has a thorough knowledge of the pre-examination tests before your appointment.
